Millie Carter

Vice President, Marketing

As the VP of Marketing, Millie leads GLDP’s marketing function which includes paid search, SEO, content, social media, email, call center, and patient experience. She brings a unique marketing profile having worked in traditional brand management and digital marketing roles which enable her to be able to put together fully integrated marketing plans for our practices while ensuring we have the right technology underpinning our efforts.

Prior to GLDP, Millie honed her brand management and marketing skills as Director of Direct Digital Channel Strategy at Hyatt Corporation where she led a team of nine in delivering digital marketing expertise to hotels from concept to execution and elevated digital marketing access in local markets. In this role, Millie and her team supported more than 100 hotels’ digital marketing efforts and were able to grow direct channel share from 13.2% to 15.4% while increasing ROAS by 2.2%. Millie also has traditional brand management training from her time at General Mills where she managed the P&L for various businesses of increased size by setting volume, profit, and market share expectations. She engaged in white space innovation developing two new products from white space mapping to test-ready prototypes in a record six months as well as managed the P&L for the foodservice yogurt business and Grands! Biscuits business.

Millie grew up around the world having lived in Peru, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States. She received her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences from Northwestern University. She is a native Spanish speaker and proficient in French. In her spare time, Millie enjoys running, teaching her kids how to play tennis, and going on long walks with her husband.
