Senior Director of Human Capital ManagementCarrington Morgan serves as GLDP’s people centric Senior Director of Human Capital Management. Joining the organization in 2019 with over 10 years of progressive leadership in all HR disciplines, her main focus has been implementing optimal systems to achieve operational excellence. Proven to be a trusted business partner, Carrington, leads the organization in best-in-class talent acquisition and retention, compliance management, and strategic people operations. Carrington believes our people are the heart of the organization and develops policies, procedures and processes that reflect our mission, vision, and values. As a data driven practitioner, she supports our people by bringing creative solutions to complex projects and utilizes her Gallup-Strengths to coach those around her to exceed their personal best and build exceptional teams. Prior to joining GLDP, Carrington worked in all fields of human resources, including growth strategy, benefits and compensation, internal development training, and workplace research. While Carrington received her BA in Business Administration from Western Illinois University and her MBA and Six Sigma Green Belt from Lewis University, she is a lifelong learner, hoping to bring needed change to every field she finds herself in. Carrington believes in servant leadership, previously serving on boards and councils in the metropolitan area, notably the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Chicago Foundation for Women and the National Black MBA Association. Outside of the office, she is an avid swimmer, enjoys cross fit, Olympic style weightlifting and all beach sports. Carrington is a Chicagoland native, residing just outside of Chicago with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
