Kurt Knoblauch

Controller

Kurt Knoblauch joins Great Lakes Dental Partners as the Controller. Kurt has spent his career in public accounting and leadership roles at public and private companies, bringing diverse accounting experience to his role leading the accounting function at GLDP.

Prior to joining GLDP, Kurt began his career at PwC in Chicago within the Private Company Services market team, spending ten years at the firm, eventually serving as a Director in the Assurance Practice. While at PwC, Kurt worked closely with private companies across various industries, including healthcare and pharmaceuticals.  Kurt worked with clients on accounting, tax, and transaction issues, including both buy-side (platform and add-on) and sell-side transactions, adopting new accounting pronouncements, carve-out transactions, internal controls, and other complex issues.  Following his time at PwC, Kurt was a Senior Director for a public REIT, responsible for financial reporting and technical accounting issues.  Most recently, before joining GLDP, Kurt was the Global Controller for an advertising technology company based in Chicago.

Outside of the office, Kurt enjoys boating, spending time near Chicago’s Lakefront, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.  Hailing from St. Louis, he is an avid Cardinal’s baseball fan and also enjoys rooting for the Fighting Irish.
